Oceanvs Orientalis & İlhan Erşahin’den Yeni Video

Oceanvs Orientalis & İlhan Erşahin ve Ferit Katipoğlu’nun, pandemi sırasında unutulan müzik emekçilerine adadıkları yeni müzik videosu  17 Aralık Çarşamba 19:00’da yayında!

Pandemi, tüm dünyada bütün hayatları ters düz etti, bu durumdan etkilenmeyen hiç kimse yok şüphesiz…  Ama bir grup insan çok daha derinden etkilendi! Sesleri kısıldı, elleri bağlandı, kulakları sağırlaştı, ruhları durgunlaştı… Hayatımızın her anında, tüm duygularımıza tercüman olan, yanı başımızda, hatta zihnimizin tam da orta yerinde bize yaşama gücü veren ‘o müziği‘ yapan insanların hayat damarları kesildi… Bilinçli veya bilinçsiz; bir şekilde onlar unutuldular, yok sayıldılar. Bir kısmını sadece virüs değil, girdikleri bu çıkmaz öldürdü.

İşte bu gerçeği, unutulanları hatırlatmak; bu serzenişe ses vermek iki usta müzisyen bir araya geldi. Dünyaca ünlü caz müzisyeni İlhan Erşahin ve global elektronik müzik sahnesinin en parlak isimlerinden Oceanvs Orientalis  uzun soluklu çalışmalarının ilk single‘ı olan ‘Pire‘yi  , “pandemide hayatları değişen tüm müzisyenler ve müzik dünyası çalışanları”na ithaf ediyorlar…

Ferit Katipoğlu’nun yönetmenliğini yaptığı film, işte o unutulan, kendilerini birden bire kenara itilmiş bulan, İstanbul’un neşeli günlerinin gizli mimarları müzisyenlerin mevcut manzarasını resmediyor. Şehrimizin en renkli sahnelerinin “Biz daha ölmedik, ama buna da hayat denemez” diyen vazgeçilmez karakterlerini hatırladınız mı?

The pandemic has turned all lives upside down all over the world, there is no doubt that no one is unaffected by this situation… But a group of people has been affected much more deeply!

Their voices were muffled, their hands were tied, their ears were deafened, their souls became stagnant… The life veins of people, who interpret all our emotions, at every moment of our lives, who make “that music” right next to us, even in the middle of our minds, are cut off… Consciously or unconsciously; somehow they were forgotten, or even worse, ignored. Some of them were killed not by the virus, but by this oblivion.

Two musicians got together to remind this fact and be the voice of the forgotten ones. World-renowned jazz musician İlhan Erşahin and one of the brightest names of the global electronic music scene, Oceanvs Orientalis, dedicate ‘Pire’, the first single of their long-term work, to “all musicians and music world workers whose lives have drastically changed during the pandemic”…

Directed by Ferit Katipoğlu, the film depicts the current landscape of the forgotten musicians, the secret architects of the joyful days of Istanbul, who suddenly find themselves pushed aside. Do you remember the indispensable characters of the most colorful scenes of our city who say “We are not dead yet, but this cannot be called life”?
